Youth Services - Youth Presentations
The American Red Cross is dedicated to starting health and safety information at a young age. We provide a number of youth presentations to schools and camps in the community. If you are interested in being a Youth Services volunteer, please complete the volunteer application. If you would like to host a youth presenation for your class or camp, please contact Pam Ewingr at 471-7200.
Scrubby Bear
Scrubby Bear visits pre-school children and teaches them about the importance of hand washing. Children will learn how germs and diseases spread and how to use proper hand washing techniques to prevent illnesses.
Cool Cat
Cool Cat teaches school-aged children how to respond to disasters such as earthquakes, tornados and house fires. Children will also learn how to help their families prepare for a disaster by creating a disaster kit and making an emergency plan.
